The ground works have started per September 11^th and are needed to prepare the ground for the actual building. The specific building permit will come into force around beginning of October when all needed permits are completed.

Why is MOL Logistics (Czech) s.r.o. building a new warehouse?

For a few years MOL Logistics (Czech) s.r.o. has been in need of extra warehouse space. This presented a limit to offer new services for our valued customer Daikin. It was also an obstacle for our sales department to grow in the warehouse segment. That's why plans have been made to expand the warehouse space by building an additional warehouse in Pilsen.

What are the specifications of the warehouse?

The new warehouse will be used dedicated for Daikin and will focus on quick goods turnover. The location offers almost 15,000 m2, 20 loading ramps and a height of 8.5 meter. It will be partially racked, to have as much flexibility as possible.

When will the warehouse be ready?

At this moment, the expectation is that the handover takes places by the end of April 2020. The start of operations is planned immediately after this date. The current warehouse will still be used after the implementation of the new one. It will serve as a multi customer site. A part will be kept for Daikin (as a backup facility) and the rest will be used and offered by the sales team to extend quantity of our warehouse customers.
